Timelo Investment Management (“Timelo”) is a privately owned Canadian boutique investment manager.  Timelo was founded in 2010 by Jean-Francois Tardif and provides investment advisory and portfolio management services.  The firm focuses on a disciplined approach to security selection based on proprietary research to produce attractive risk adjusted returns.

The firm employs a combined top-down, bottom-up approach.  Macroeconomic analysis is used to first identify which sectors of the economy will be impacted both favourably or negatively given current economic forecasts.  Following this, specific companies are identified as potential candidates for inclusion in the firm's portfolios, either long or short based on their specific fundamentals and trading multiples.
